WIND POWER STRUCTURAL CONSULTING OVERVIEW Following your "go/no-go" preliminary wind power decisions, ECO can provide assistance with the selection of system types and styles, and estimates of wind power potential.
If requested, we can fully evaluate competing designs to help clients best determine the best wind energy potential versus investment.
We can also coordinate the electrical installation with experienced electrical contractors and electric grid providers.
STRUCTURAL DESIGN
Following selection of wind power generator types, ECO will review the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) suggested foundation and structural support systems.
Then we can coordinate the manufacturers structural concept with your site's actual wind zone rating and your soil's geotechnical information.
Based on this information, we will design and detail construction drawings for the foundation, and review or redesign the supporting structure.
This information wiill then be discussed with both your wind turbine OEM and your selected electrical contractor.
Once everthing is finalized, permit construction plans are created and stamped by ECO's engineer.
